Making sure that our tenants receive the best service from us is a role that we take seriously. A key figure in our maintenance team is Sheanay Humes. She is responsible, alongside our building surveyor and maintenance supervisor, for liaising with our contractors to organise day-to-day repairs across our residential portfolio.
Good communication with tenants is important to us. When work is taking place, it’s Sheanay’s responsibility to keep tenants updated and is on standby to field any questions they might have. At any given day, we always have electricians, plumbers and handymen working on the estate which means that, when something happens, it’s addressed as quickly as possible.
A people person through and through, Sheanay came to London in 2012 and has a degree in Criminology. When she realised she was interested in working within the housing sector, she went back to college and studied for a diploma. She joined the team here in February 2017 with a golden recommendation – that of her mother, our accounts manager, Kathleen.
