ENGLEFIELD ECHO
The Englefield Estate Annual Review
The Englefield Echo is an annual review of the Englefield Estate, the Benyon Estate and Glenmazeran, and their activities over the preceding year. Sharing news and insights from the teams on the ground, the magazine takes a look at the issues affecting communities, businesses and our environment.
The Benyon Estate is the London arm of the Englefield Estate, which is in Berkshire, and the Glenmazeran Estate in Scotland. Owned by the Benyon family, the estates collectively operate a diverse range of land and property interests across the three locations.
Produced at the end of each calendar year, the Englefield Echo encompasses the work of all three estates, with updates from the people behind the scenes, the organisations that we work with, and the people in our communities.

ANNUAL REVIEW 2021
In this edition, you will read about our commitment to the environment and how we strive to continue to enhance it. We have always sought to be good stewards of these estates, but we also need to be part of a local and national desire to tackle climate change and the crisis of species decline.
Across our three estates, we are making landscape-scale improvements, not only to reduce carbon emissions, but to promote carbon capture, ensure clean air and water, reduce soil erosion, improve soil quality, implement natural flood management, and address the decline in biodiversity.
As our communities emerge from the global pandemic, we are focusing on what we can do to make them as healthy, vibrant, safe and prosperous as possible.
